Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal products. Pay:
$30-35/hr
DOE Key Responsibilities:
Operate plasma cutting tables and press brakes to fabricate metal components to precise specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production. Set up, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment for optimal performance and efficiency. Perform bending, cutting, and forming operations on a variety of metals and thicknesses. Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and specifications. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and inventory accuracy. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines. Accurately document production runs, measurements, and material usage. Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or fabrication training preferred. Proven experience operating plasma cutters and press brakes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work swing shift and overtime as needed.
