Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and fitting tasks to assemble structural components, and various metal structures. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet strict safety standards, quality specifications, and industry codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from manufacturing to construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine welding and fitting requirements. Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) with precision according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to meet project specifications. Use rigging techniques for lifting and positioning heavy components safely during assembly or installation. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection logs and compliance reports in accordance with safety protocol adherence. Requirements Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in fabrication and installation tasks; knowledge of power tool safety is essential. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
