Hours:

6am-2pm or 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, OT as needed Responsibilities Interpret layout drawings and Bills of Materials. Use measuring devices to mark holes and cutouts on enclosures and backplates. Operate drills, taps, punches, and saws for mounting and access holes. Label and assemble backplate components. Prepare enclosures for painting. Assist with wiring per electrical schematics. Transfer drawing layouts, drill, punch, and cut metal enclosures and backplates. Gather appropriate parts for panel build, read electrical schematics, create markers, and wire panels. Help prepare panels for testing and painting, and provide shop support. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years in metalworking or equivalent. Proficiency in transferring layout drawings to enclosures. Competence in using metal fabrication tools for accurate hole-making. Basic understanding of electrical components. Experience with power tools such as drills, taps, punches, and saws. Ability to read measuring tools in metric, fractional, and decimal formats. Must provide own hand tools and workboots. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Must pass a physical examination.
