Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Ironworker, where you'll play a vital role in building the backbone of major infrastructure and commercial projects. As an Ironworker, you'll be responsible for installing, reinforcing, and maintaining structural steel and concrete components that form the foundation of impressive buildings, bridges, and other large-scale structures. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and safety expertise to bring architectural visions to life. Your dedication will ensure that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute structural installations. Install rebar and reinforcement materials for concrete structures, ensuring proper placement according to specifications. Construct formwork and frameworks for concrete pouring, including metal stud framing and formwork construction. Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting equipment safely and effectively. Pour, finish, and cure concrete surfaces while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Install heavy-duty metal components such as steel beams, supports, and other structural elements with precision. Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on structural steel installation or concrete work. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and material handling. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret construction plans and specifications. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and resource needs. Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, concrete cutting, pouring, and curing processes. Experience with rebar installation, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, renovation work, restoration projects, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Commitment to following all safety procedures related to construction site operations and workplace safety regulations. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively on complex projects in fast-paced environments. Join us in shaping the skyline!
