Full Job Description Job Summary:

Assists in the fabrication of metal roofing panels and all of the activities associated with the metal department by performing the following duties.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow company safety to ensure a safe work environment. Load and unload tools and material Cuts and bends metal and assists with deliveries. Assists in warehouse as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow directions. Excellent Interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Forklift certified is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1 year of experience in warehouse or construction industry preferred. Bilingual is English/Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees are required to lift a maximum of 80 pounds safely, following proper lifting techniques. For any items exceeding 80 pounds or items that are awkward, bulky, or difficult to handle, employees must use team lifts or approved mechanical lifting devices. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the warehouse. Position works both inside and outside during various types of weather.
