Job Description
Job Overview Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes and be proficient in operating various machinery. This role involves working with different types of metals to create components and structures according to specifications. The Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. Duties Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including press brake machines and welding tools. Perform welding tasks on various metal components, ensuring strong and accurate joints. Utilize cranes for lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate parts according to specifications. Conduct machining operations as needed to achieve precise dimensions. Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication. Work with sheet metal to create custom parts and assemblies. Utilize tools such as calipers for accurate measurement of materials. Operate forklifts for the safe transportation of materials within the facility. Perform pipe threading as required for specific projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in welding techniques and metal fabrication processes. Experience operating press brake machines and other fabrication equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with sheet metal work and its applications in various projects. Ability to operate cranes safely, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience using calipers and other measuring tools accurately. Forklift operation experience is preferred for material handling tasks. Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is a plus.
