Company Overview Kings Interiors specializes in high-end custom millwork, seating, and window treatments for a variety of commercial settings. We collaborate closely with general contractors, architects, design firms, and other key contributors to deliver exceptional interior solutions. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Metal Fabricator to oversee and execute complex metal fabrication projects within our shop environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and expertise in various welding techniques. This role is essential for ensuring the quality, precision, and safety of fabricated metal components used in our high-end interior installations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the fabrication team to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication processes Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments Execute welding operations including MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), FCAW, and SMAW according to AWS standards Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently Fabricate sheet metal components and assemble metal structures following shop math principles Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment Experience Proven experience in metal fabrication within a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding Familiarity with construction site practices and working with diverse metal materials Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Knowledge of American Welding Society (AWS) standards and safety regulations Installation experience is a plus. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
