Position Overview:

As a Highway Construction Worker with a Class A CDL at HJC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of our road infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include the installation and maintenance of road barriers, guardrails, cable barriers, concrete barrier walls, and road signs. This is an opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to projects that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and maintain road barriers and signs

Transport and operate specialized equipment requiring a Class A CDL

Adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols

Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team

Travel within Texas (Monday through Friday)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Class A CDL license is required

Previous construction or related experience preferred

Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
