Position Hiring :
Structural Ironworker Journeyman Pay Rate :
$34.00 - $36.00 (based on certification)
Incentive Rate :
$10.00 (will be combined with base rate) Per Diem (if eligible) : $178.00 per day worked
Work Schedule :
5x10's (subject to change)

Job Responsibilities :
Safe use of Hand & Power Tools Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements. Align, bolt, weld, and rivet steel components using appropriate tools and methods. Hoist steel beams, columns, and other materials into place using cranes, rigging, and signal methods. Fabricate and install steel structures, catwalks, support systems, pipe racks, and bracing. Perform layout and fit-up for structural assemblies with precision. Cut and weld metal components using oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, arc welding, or other techniques. Inspect and verify structural alignment, bolt torque, and weld quality to meet job specifications and safety codes. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools including torches, levels, grinders, reamers, and hydraulic equipment. Work at heights using fall protection systems, scaffolds, ladders, and aerial lifts in accordance with safety procedures. Collaborate with crane operators, riggers, welders, and other trades to ensure coordinated and timely completion of tasks.. Determine the number, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions. Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. Cuts reinforcing iron and rebar to required lengths using hacksaw, bar cutters, or cutting torch according to site specific and industry standards. Prioritize tasks according to job schedule. Ensure proper permits have been obtained and can read & understand all permits
