Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Building Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing metal building components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of commercial and industrial projects, ensuring structures are built to specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in construction management, and be part of a dedicated team committed to quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Erect and install metal building frameworks, including steel framing, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry components with precision and safety in mind Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation Operate heavy equipment and power tools such as cranes, drills, welders, and hand tools to facilitate efficient construction processes Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed for foundation support and structural integrity Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements to ensure proper fit of components Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks, adhere to schedules, and maintain safety standards on-site Conduct heavy lifting safely while following proper techniques; assist in remodeling projects or siding installations when required Skills Proven experience in metal building erection with a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate assembly Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, plastering, stucco application, woodworking, trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, siding installation, and remodeling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Strong understanding of construction plans and technical specifications; experience with interpreting technical drawings is essential Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting; capable of working at heights or in confined spaces as needed Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project managers Join our team today to build exceptional structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced construction environment!
