Now Hiring:
Experienced Welder Pay:
$20-32hr depending on experience, qualifications, and weld test results Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Experienced Welder to join a local company in Bryan, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Schedule:
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on workload Flexibility in scheduling is necessary
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum materials Fabricate and assemble pipe systems, structural components, and sheet metal products Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, and other shop machinery Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer specifications Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Extensive stainless steel TIG welding experience is required Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrication Knowledge of pipe fitting, structural fabrication, and sheet metal work Experience operating fabrication equipment such as shears and press brakes Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Qualified applicants must complete an on-site interview and weld test. The weld test will include a 2G (horizontal position) butt weld on a beveled steel plate using multi-pass welding techniques. Welds will be evaluated for penetration, appearance, and adherence to quality standards, including visual inspection requirements. ! Or call our office at 979-307-9268!
