Pay:

Based on experience Job Summary We are seeking experienced Rodbusters to work on a construction project in the Edinburg, Texas area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the trade, be dependable, motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. The position requires the ability to work extended hours and perform physically demanding tasks. Candidates must be prepared to work approximately 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install, tie, place, and secure reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project specifications and blueprints.

Measure, cut, bend, and assemble reinforcing steel.

Position and secure rebar using hand tools and power tools.

Build, install, and remove concrete forms and structures as needed.

Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other construction materials.

Set and align forms according to project specifications.

Assist with concrete placement and finishing activities when needed.

Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all jobsite safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

Work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, standing, and working for extended periods.

Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Rodbuster is required.

No formal education is required; relevant trade experience is preferred.

Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work.

Must be able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.

Must be able to work extended hours and perform physically demanding work.

Must have personal tools necessary for the trade.

Must have personal steel-toe boots.

Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Clean background is required due to the project being a federal project.

Bilingual ability is not required, but is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry construction materials.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work for extended periods.

Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Ability to safely perform duties in an active construction environment.
