Full Job Description Structural Fitter Location:

Houston, TX Pay:

$25.00-$30.00/hour, depending on experience

Night Shift Differential:

Additional 10% for qualifying night-shift hours Position Overview Apache Workforce is seeking an experienced Structural Fitter for a manufacturing/fabrication environment in Houston. The Structural Fitter will be responsible for fitting, aligning, measuring, cutting, and tack welding structural steel components according to blueprints and fabrication specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions. Measure, lay out, cut, and prepare structural steel materials. Fit and align structural components according to specifications. Tack weld components as needed. Use measuring and layout tools to verify dimensions and alignment. Operate torches and fabrication equipment safely. Perform grinding, beveling, and other preparation work. Use hand and power tools safely. Complete required production and inspection documentation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Work closely with welders, supervisors, and other production team members. Qualifications 5+ years of structural fitting or related fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience fitting structural steel and understanding structural shapes and dimensions. Basic welding and tack-welding experience. Experience using torches for cutting and beveling. Ability to use measuring and layout tools. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Basic math and measurement skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow safety instructions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing shop environment that may not be climate controlled. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, and climb ladders as needed. Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Work may require extended shifts and occasional Saturdays based on production needs. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Night shift:
