Summary:
Entry-level and intermediate-level fabrication tasks, supporting the production of metal components and assemblies. This role requires hands-on experience with fabrication tools, blueprint interpretation, and quality control. The ideal candidate demonstrates growing technical proficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and teamwork in manufacturing .
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools
  • Operate fabrication equipment and tools
  • Assist in welding and assembly of metal components when required
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Coordinate and maintain detailed production schedules, shop employees, and workflow documentation
  • Work directly supporting Plant Manager(s), Director(s) and Shop Supervisor(s)
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or vocational / technical school equivalent
  • 1-5 years of fabrication or manufacturing experience
  • Familiar with hand tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Welding knowledge or certification is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
  • Participate in on-the-job training to build fabrication skills
