Job Description

Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator Join the Extreme Steel team! Extreme Steel, Inc. is a growing AISC-certified structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector serving the DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Miscellaneous Metals Fabricators . What You'll Do Fabricate miscellaneous metal components, including handrails, guardrails, and custom metal structures. Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld metal components according to blueprints and shop drawings. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, and layouts. Perform accurate measuring and layout to ensure quality and proper fit. Operate hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with the installation of miscellaneous metal products when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Requirements Previous experience in metal fabrication required. Experience fabricating miscellaneous metals, railings, or guardrails preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Experience with MIG, Stick, or TIG welding preferred. Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Construction or field installation experience is a plus. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
