JOB DUTIES

Primary Role:

Operate press brake to produce high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to blueprints

Additional Responsibilities:

Float to other departments (e.g., sorting, welding, etc.) based on production needs, providing expertise and support Sort and organize parts from laser cutting machines to feed downstream work centers Operate drilling, tapping, deburring, and edge-rounding equipment Assist team members in press brake, laser, and welding departments, learning advanced techniques and cross-training as necessary Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products Master machinery and standard operating procedures to uphold quality standards Mentor trainees, sharing knowledge to help nurture growth of team members Contribute to process improvements and maintain equipment for optimal performance
