Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Erectors to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PEMB erection, sheet metal detailing, and welding, with the ability to work effectively on construction sites. We are looking for a range of skills from experienced PEMB Erection laborer to PEMB Erection foreman. We are looking to fill a total of (4) Erector positions. PEMB Crew Members may be tasked to help other divisions as needed for the success of the company. Additional construction skills and experience are a plus. Compensation will be based on experience. As a PEMB Erector, you will be responsible for assembling and installing PEMB and structural steel frameworks, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. Duties Fabricate and assemble PEMB structures, metal siding and metal roofing using hand tools and machinery. Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to lift and position steel components. Weld various metal pieces together with precision, ensuring structural integrity. Install metal components as required by project specifications. Utilize metal cutting techniques for shaping metal materials. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Qualifications Proven experience (2-10 years) in PEMB erection or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Certification in welding or related fields is a plus but not mandatory. CDL is a plus but not mandatory.
