Job Description
Job Title:
Landfill Gas Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Landfill Gas Technician to join our team and support our operations and maintenance efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing landfill well data, maintaining and troubleshooting pumps, and performing SEMs and probe readings and tunings. You will also have the opportunity to work with company equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities + Collect and analyze landfill well data + Perform pump maintenance including pulling, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and replacing. + Conduct landfill gas tuning and reading. + Operate SEMs and probes effectively. + Perform data entry and collection. + Engage in environmental testing and field sampling. Essential Skills + Experience with landfill gas systems + Proficiency in data entry and environmental field work. + Mechanical experience. + OSHA 40 HAZWOPER certification is a plus. If you don't have it currently we will get you the certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications + ISCO pipe fusion certification is a plus. + Experience with environmental testing and field sampling. Work Environment You will work at a site in the Shreveport/Keithville area. Our company is the largest environmental engineering firm supporting landfill gas projects across the US. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
