Job Description
Morrow Energy is looking to add to our growing team in Anderson, TX at our Twin Oaks Renewables location!
Job Summary:
The day to day of a Landfill Gas Technician / Biogas Technician, under the supervision of the Plant Manager, will be to operate, maintain and adjust natural gas processing equipment and other operational duties. This position will incorporate both inside and outside plant operator responsibilities in addition to RNG wellfield responsibilities. This includes preventative and corrective maintenance on RNG processing units such as compressors, tuning of natural gas wells using portable gas analyzers, and collecting daily data and reads on all running equipment and gas wells. This is a full-time position, in addition, biogas technicians will also be expected to be on call, responding to abnormalities and shutdowns as necessary. The biogas technician must be analytical, sharp-witted, and able to take lead when necessary.Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular surveillance of automated production operations.
- Responsible for lockout and tagout duties for maintenance work
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance, and high level of performance.
- Communicate daily with other technicians, as well as Plant Manager
- Understand and implement factors that affect production.
- Monitor liquid levels, tune gas wells, supply vacuum, understand the chemical composition of gas wells, differential, etc.
- Maximize field efficiency (verify all pneumatic pumps are in operating order, Prioritize of high flowing wells)
- Uphold cleanliness and housekeeping standards of the Plant/wellfield/mobile equipment/facilities.
- Adhere to and understand well-field balancing procedures.
- Build and maintain data entry logs/daily read ups.
- Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves associated with operations.
- Must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical power, and control systems.
- Perform work orders and ensure all maintenance work is done in accordance with established safety rules.
Position Requirements:
- Being Ready for callouts
- Mechanical and electrical experience is a plus. (Not required)
- The ability to travel when needed (a few days a month on average)
- High School Diploma/GED (College Degree Preferred Engineering/Science)
- Must be eligible to be legally employed in the U.S.
- Experience with gas chromatography, analytical equipment, and data is a plus but not required.
- Required to work outdoors approximately 90% of each workday. Work involves exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements.
- Comfortable working in a Landfill Environment, and around moving Heavy Equipment
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.

$20- $26 /
