About East Coast Industries East Coast Industries is a growing commercial landscape construction and irrigation contractor serving general contractors, municipalities, developers, and commercial property owners throughout South Florida.
We specialize in:
Commercial Landscape Installation Irrigation Installation Site Improvements Municipal Projects We're building our management team and looking for someone who wants more than just a job. This is an opportunity to work directly with ownership, build systems, and grow into a leadership role as our company continues to expand. Position Overview We are seeking an organized, motivated Assistant Project Manager / Estimator to support our estimating and project management team. This position will work directly with the Owner and Project Manager on commercial landscape and irrigation projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with a company that is actively expanding. ResponsibilitiesEstimating Review construction plans and specifications Perform quantity takeoffs Prepare commercial landscape and irrigation estimates Solicit vendor and subcontractor pricing Assemble complete bid packages Prepare proposals and submit bids Follow up on bids with general contractors Maintain estimating spreadsheets and databases Project Management Support Prepare and process change orders Assist with project documentation Track RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors Assist with scheduling and material procurement Support active construction projects Office & Operations Organize project files Maintain estimating templates and production rates Answer contractor and vendor inquiries Assist in developing and improving estimating systems
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, civil construction, landscape construction, irrigation, estimating, or project management Ability to read construction plans and specifications Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Commercial landscape or irrigation experience is a plus but is not required .
