An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Landscape Architect & Land Planner in Burtonsville, MD with a reputable firm known for creating practical, functional, and innovative land planning, engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture solutions. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team with more than 30 years of experience guiding residential, mixed-use, and public projects from concept through completion. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Landscape Architect & Land Planner position include: 10+ years of landscape architecture and land planning experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Land Planning, Urban Design, or a related field Strong knowledge of entitlements, zoning regulations, permitting, approvals, and land development processes Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, SketchUp, GIS, and visualization/rendering software preferred Lead planning and landscape architecture projects including conceptual land plans, site layouts, master plans, streetscapes, planting plans, and amenity designs Manage projects from initial client consultation through construction implementation while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards Supervise and mentor junior landscape architects, land planners, and design staff Attend client meetings, public hearings, and coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies
