Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, creating design plans, and ensuring that projects are executed effectively. The Landscape Designer will utilize various design software and tools to draft plans and present ideas, while also considering environmental sustainability and local regulations. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and preferences. Develop innovative landscape designs that enhance outdoor spaces. Create detailed design plans using software Conduct site assessments and land surveying to inform design decisions. Draft construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for projects. Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and environmental regulations. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals during project execution. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices. Skills Proficiency in design software Ability to draft detailed plans and specifications accurately. Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas to clients and stakeholders. Strong creative problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for aesthetics. Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape ecology is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects.
