Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Landscape Architect and Planner to join our vibrant team dedicated to creating sustainable, functional, and aesthetically compelling outdoor environments. In this role, you will lead the design and planning of landscape projects, integrating ecological principles with urban development needs. Your expertise will help shape design build and maintain high end rare Old Estate English style Gardens, Build and Maintain Elaborate high end Water Features, design and maintain beautive elaborate hardscapes, and ecological restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence private luxerious landscapes while utilizing cutting-edge design tools and sustainable practices. Duties Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD to produce detailed plans and visualizations. Conduct site analyses incorporating GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools like ArcView and ArcGIS to assess land use, topography, hydrology, and environmental constraints. Prepare construction documents, including grading plans, planting schemes, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and lighting plans aligned with client specifications and regulatory standards. Collaborate with civil engineers, surveyors, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility during construction phases while maintaining project timelines and budgets. Perform land surveying activities and assist in construction estimating to accurately forecast project costs and resource needs. Incorporate sustainable design principles such as native planting, water conservation strategies, and eco-friendly materials into all projects. Oversee landscape maintenance planning post-installation to ensure longevity and health of the landscape features. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or related field with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite for rendering and presentation purposes. Experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or ArcView for spatial analysis. Knowledge of horticulture practices, especially organic use of benificial insects and organic fertilizers, landscaping techniques, hardscape construction methods, irrigation systems, and land surveying processes. Familiarity with construction estimating procedures and project management methodologies to coordinate multiple phases of development effectively. Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations affecting landscape projects. Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail; ability to produce clear technical drawings and documentation. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting concepts to clients.
