As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. From healing environments and learning spaces to research labs and civic landmarks and infrastructure, your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them. We bring together architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. From championing design excellence with an emphasis on resilience and sustainability to pioneering innovative building technologies, your contributions will leave a lasting impact on the built environment. In the role of Landscape Architect, we'll count on you to: Develop site designs through contract document phases of projects Conduct site analysis to include building operation, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site grading, storm drainage design and site amenities Meet with client representatives as needed Participate in reviews with various utilities and governing agencies for code compliance Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project sites Coordinate workload to ensure deadlines are met, reviewing documents for all areas of conflict with all disciplines, writing and editing site design specifications, selecting landscape and paving materials, and preparing drawings as required Provide contract administration as needed Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 5 years experience GIS knowledge helpful Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering Professional registration Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop Able to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
