You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients from concept through construction to create functional, sustainable, and visually engaging environments. Responsibilities Assume day-to-day responsibility for all landscape architecture design, production, and project management activities. Prepare landscape architecture design studies, written design narratives, calculations, and technical analyses to support project concepts and solutions. Conduct field investigations as needed to understand site conditions, project requirements, and constraints. Coordinate landscape architecture work with other disciplines, including architecture, civil engineering, and other design teams, to ensure fully integrated project solutions. Prepare landscape architecture design drawings and construction document drawings, and provide direction to landscape architecture support staff as required. Develop outline specifications and final construction document specifications for landscape architecture components. Maintain technical accuracy, constructability, code conformance, and an appropriate level of detail for all project scopes and deliverables. Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the landscape architecture design quality control process. Review or delegate the review of all landscape architecture design work for technical accuracy, constructability, code conformance, and appropriate level of detail. Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize design solutions and project budgets. Attend project team meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings and preparing construction submittals. Participate in construction site observations and prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely manner. Work closely with the construction administration team and other project team members to resolve construction issues efficiently. Support marketing efforts and project interviews by contributing technical expertise and design insights. Apply client design standards consistently in the development of site and landscape documents. Essential Skills Degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related program. Strong foundation and demonstrated capability in all areas of landscape architecture, including planning, design, documentation, and construction administration. Proficiency in AutoCAD civil 3d for preparing site and landscape design drawings and construction documents. Proficiency in Revit for coordinating landscape architecture components with multidisciplinary building and site models. Experience producing site and landscape documents within an architecture and engineering (A/E) firm environment. Experience using client design standards and incorporating them into project documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reports, narratives, calculations, and project documentation. Capability and experience with park facilities, including planning and detailed design. Capability and experience with urban design projects, including streetscapes and public realm improvements. Capability and experience with campus planning, including academic, institutional, or corporate campuses. Capability and experience with public right-of-way (ROW) improvements and public facilities. Capability and experience with site grading, site layout, and parking improvements. Experience using Enscape or similar visualization tools to produce renderings and visual presentations.
