Job Description
Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise and coordinate staff and design consultants in the planning, preparation and submission of contract documents, which include: drawings, specifications, permitting forms and estimates for single and multi-trade projects; coordinate workloads of staff; perform employee and consultant evaluations; develop and review reports; prepare work orders for design consultants; coordinate and attend meetings; resolve conflicts as they arise. Provide in-house design when required. Ensure that the contract documents are code compliant, comply with regulatory requirements, and conform to the OGS Design Standards and Procedures. Support construction projects and coordinate with field staff; attend construction phase meetings; review submittals. Respond to IB's and RFI's. Coordinate with and support client agencies. Be a subject matter expert on site related design and construction matters, materials, equipment and installation methods. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform the full range of supervisory duties.
