Key Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in creating compelling and environmentally-conscious designs for various projects, including parks, public spaces, and commercial properties. Develop concept plans, design drawings, and presentations that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders. Ensure designs adhere to local codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Oversee all phases of projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines to maintain open communication and ensure project requirements are met. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement necessary corrective measures. Possess a good working knowledge of civil engineering as it relates to landscape architecture
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. Licensed Landscape Architect in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity of license in Kentucky. 6+ years of relevant professional experience in landscape architecture, with a track record of successful project delivery. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. In-depth knowledge of landscape design principles, sustainable practices, and horticulture. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
