Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle for landscape architecture and site development projects from kickoff to closeout. Oversee technical tasks such as developing renderings, preparing conceptual plans, planting plans, hardscape layout, lighting, and construction detailing. Develop site design concepts and detailed plans for outdoor amenity spaces, including plazas, courtyards, and streetscapes. Oversee the preparation of construction details and technical specifications that align with project standards and local codes. Prepare illustrative renderings, 3D visualizations, and presentation graphics to communicate design intent. Serve as the primary client point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and guiding communication between internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration with civil engineers, planners, architects, and other professionals. Provide mentorship, direction, and quality assurance for junior team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience with demonstrated project management responsibilities. 5+ years of experience working within Northern Virginia jurisdictions (Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, Loudoun). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools. Experience with 3D modeling platforms such as SketchUp, Enscape, and similar software. Knowledge of entitlement processes, local codes, and permitting requirements. Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Professional license preferred. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Salary Range:
$100K - $140K
