Crossman Engineering, a multi-office engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and planning firm, was established in 1983 and has grown to become a regional leader in the fields of transportation/traffic engineering, civil/site engineering, water/wastewater engineering, landscape architecture, urban design & planning, land surveying, environmental engineering and construction services. Crossman Engineering has offices in Warwick, RI and North Attleboro, MA. Position Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating functional, attractive, and environmentally responsible outdoor spaces while working collaboratively with engineers, planners, architects, and private, municipal and state clients. Responsibilities- Prepare conceptual designs, site plans, landscape plans, and construction documents
- Design planting plans, grading, hardscape, streetscapes, parks, recreational facilities, and commercial developments
- Coordinate with civil engineers and project managers throughout all phases of project development
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and permit documentation
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration
- Meet with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and budgets Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture for an accredited program
- Licensed Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts Licensure)
- 5-8 years of professional experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, or GIS software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Rhode Island and southeastern New England Preferred Experience
