Experienced Landscaper / Landscape Crew Member Homegrown Landscaping & Design, LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking experienced landscapers to join our growing team in the Lexington/Columbia, SC area. We provide residential and commercial landscape maintenance, landscape installation, property cleanups, sod installation, planting, mulch/pine straw installation, drainage work and other landscape improvement services. We are looking for team members who already have hands-on landscaping experience , understand how to work efficiently as part of a crew, and take pride in leaving a property looking professional when the job is complete. Responsibilities Operate commercial zero-turn and/or riding mowers Properly use weed eaters/string trimmers, edgers and backpack blowers Mow, edge, weed-eat and blow residential and commercial properties Trim and shape shrubs Perform landscape bed maintenance and hand weeding Install plants, shrubs, mulch, pine straw, rock and sod Assist with landscape installations, cleanups and property renovations Load and unload landscaping materials, tools and equipment Perform general job-site cleanup Safely operate landscaping equipment and follow company procedures Work efficiently with other crew members to complete scheduled jobs Qualifications Previous professional landscaping or lawn-maintenance experience is strongly preferred.

Applicants should:

Have experience operating commercial landscaping equipment Be comfortable working outdoors in South Carolina heat and changing weather conditions Be physically capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs. and performing physical outdoor work throughout the workday Be dependable and arrive to work on time Have reliable transportation to and from our designated meeting/shop location Be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a crew Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail Maintain a professional attitude while working at customer properties A valid driver's license and clean driving record are a major plus , especially for applicants interested in advancement to crew-leader positions.
