Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for hardworking and dependable workers to join our commercial landscaping crew. Work will include maintaining large commercial properties and performing roadside and freeway grass-cutting services. Responsibilities Operate weed eaters/string trimmers Operate large John Deere tractors and mowing equipment Cut and maintain grass along freeways and roadside areas Maintain commercial properties and large landscaping areas Perform trimming, edging, blowing, and general grounds maintenance Properly use and care for landscaping equipment Follow all safety procedures, especially when working near roadways Work outdoors in various weather conditions Skills Landscaping or commercial grounds-maintenance experience preferred Experience operating weed eaters and large mowing equipment Experience with John Deere tractors is a plus Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a crew Must be comfortable working outdoors and around traffic Ability to safely lift and handle landscaping equipment ⚠ Safety Because some work will be performed along freeways and roadways, strict adherence to safety procedures and traffic-control requirements is required.
