Crane Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating a 60-ton all-terrain crane to safely and efficiently remove trees and the occasional load. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety. Duties Operate cranes to lift and move materials according to project needs Inspect crane mechanisms and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe and efficient operations Rig loads for lifting and unloading Perform basic maintenance on the crane as needed Skills Proficiency in operating all-terrain cranes Basic knowledge of tree identification Accurate estimating of tree weights with climber Requirements Must have valid Massachusetts 1B hoisting license

preferred Must have CDL B license Must have OSHA 10 certification Previous experience in crane operation Knowledge of tree identification, pruning techniques, and plant health care preferred Ability to lift 65 pounds and work in difficult weather conditions Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in the safe and effective operation of equipment Experience in tree climbing and knot tying preferred
