Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Snow Plow Operator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and accessible roadways, driveways, and parking lots during winter weather conditions. Your contributions will help keep our community moving smoothly through the winter months, making a real difference in the lives of those around you. We are looking for 2 front end loader operators. What you'll do Operate Front End Loader, snow plow trucks and other heavy equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways of snow and ice. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance, including checking fluid levels and conducting minor repairs. Utilize shovels and other tools for snow removal tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to develop effective snow removal strategies based on weather conditions. Monitor weather forecasts and respond promptly to changing conditions to maintain safety. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as tree trimming and lawn care during off-season periods. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including hours worked and materials used. Lawn care, irrigation, and landscaping positions available rest of the year. Basic qualifications Snow Removal experience or experience operating heavy machinery. Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions, including nighttime shifts. Preferred qualifications Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields. Familiarity with excavation equipment and construction practices. Knowledge of irrigation systems and gardening techniques.
