This position does require the willingness to work on-call over the weekend and work as a caregiver when needed. Scheduling Supervisor Responsibilities:

Create and maintain caregiver schedules and schedule templates using applicable software. Schedule and coordinate new hire training. Assist with interviewing and hiring new staff. Willingness to work on-call over the weekend to schedule replacements for open shifts and when necessary, work as a caregiver to ensure adequate staffing. Assist with ordering of supplies. Serve as a leader and resource for staff, working closely with the Housing Director and DHS to ensure quality resident care, appropriate staffing levels, and effective facility operations.

Scheduling Supervisor Qualifications:

Prior experience in senior care environment or related health care field preferred. Able to demonstrate good time management and organizational skills. Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in the workplace. Excellent communication, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
