Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in snow plowing and loader experience. This position involves operating snow plowing equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow removal from various surfaces during winter months. The Loader Snow Plow Operator will also assist with general site management and salting tasks throughout the season. This is an On Call position. 27/7 availability during all snow and ice events. Snow events 1"+ Reliable transportation to site required. 2 years experience required - loader operator, commercial snow plowing. Responsibilities Operate snow plowing equipment effectively to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways of snow and ice. Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment, including inspections and minor repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal tasks as needed. Assist with lawn care, tree trimming, mowing, and hardscape projects during non-winter months. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks while operating machinery or performing manual tasks. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating heavy machinery such as loaders and snow plows. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license may be required depending on the specific job location.
