Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with overtime available Kercom LLC is hiring a dependable Underground Digger / Construction Laborer to assist our underground telecommunications construction crews. This is a physical labor position. The employee will primarily dig by hand, shovel dirt, help expose underground utilities, backfill holes and trenches, and restore lawns and job sites. This is not an equipment operator position. Responsibilities Dig holes and trenches using shovels and hand tools Assist with exposing underground utilities Help install underground conduit and telecommunications lines Backfill holes and trenches Rake, seed, and restore lawns after construction Remove rocks, dirt, and construction debris Load and unload tools and materials Keep job sites clean and organized Follow instructions from the crew leader Follow all company and job-site safety requirements Requirements Landscaping experience is required Previous digging, construction, or underground utility experience is preferred Must be comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Must be able to shovel, rake, bend, kneel, and work outdoors Must be able to work in different weather conditions Must have a valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation Must be dependable and arrive on time Must follow directions and work well with a crew What We Offer Full-time work Overtime opportunities Pay based on experience Opportunity for advancement Training in underground telecommunications construction Applicants should apply through Indeed with their work history, landscaping experience, telephone number, and availability.
