Utilities Operations Worker

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Utilities Operations Worker for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). Among the key duties of this position are the following: Under general supervision, will be required to perform manual duties which include but are not limited to: Excavation hand work, scaffolding erections, general maintenance, painting, trench shoring, and working with other trades when required. Will also be required to have general operational knowledge of sewer jetting and vacuum unit, skid steer, trencher, compaction equipment, telehandler and snow equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

High school/vocational school education or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years documented experience in utility and excavation experience
