Position Overview DeepCut Solutions LLC is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our underground fiber installation crews. This is a hands-on outdoor construction position . Employees will work as part of a two-person crew installing underground fiber optic cable using plows, trenching equipment, hand tools, and other construction equipment. We are a production-focused company , but production never comes before safety or quality. Employees who consistently work hard, meet production standards, maintain quality, and demonstrate leadership have opportunities for increased pay, bonuses, and advancement. What You'll Do Install underground fiber optic cable Operate hand tools and assist with underground construction equipment Assist with plowing and boring operations Dig and expose utilities when required Follow utility markings and SC 811 requirements Work safely around existing underground utilities Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials Maintain and clean work areas Assist with restoration of yards, driveways, roads, and other work areas Take required job-site photos and documentation Perform daily truck, trailer, and equipment inspections Communicate problems and job-site conditions to the Group Lead Follow company safety and operating procedures Complete assigned production while maintaining quality Production Expectations Our crews are expected to work efficiently and take pride in their production. Production expectations may vary based on: Ground conditions Utility congestion Required hand digging Bores Driveways and road crossings Terrain Weather Job complexity Employees can earn additional money through production incentives when crews meet or exceed accepted production and quality standards. Safety & Quality Safety is a condition of employment.

Employees must:

Follow all company safety procedures Wear required PPE Follow utility markings Stop work when an unsafe condition is identified Properly expose utilities when required Never knowingly work through a marked utility Immediately report damaged or improperly marked utilities Maintain safe distances from dangerous utilities Never sacrifice safety or quality to increase production Production only counts when the work is completed correctly and accepted by the company/customer. Required PPE & Clothing Employees must provide/wear or use company-required: Steel-toe boots Long work pants Company-required shirt or safety vest Other PPE as required for the job Joggers and sweatpants are not permitted on job sites. Qualifications Experience is preferred but not required. We will consider applicants who have experience in: Fiber installation Underground utilities Construction Landscaping Excavation Heavy equipment Plumbing Electrical General labor The most important qualifications are: Dependability Strong work ethic Willingness to learn Ability to follow directions Ability to work outdoors Ability to work safely Ability to work as part of a two-person crew Good attitude Desire to advance A valid driver's license is preferred. Physical Requirements This position requires physical labor and outdoor work.
