You'll start part-time while learning our service process, equipment, safety standards and preventative-maintenance inspection system. Compensation & Career Growth Starting compensation is: $22/hour + 5% performance commission We have a structured Technician Development Program designed to reward employees who develop their skills and stay with the company. As you advance, opportunities include: Higher hourly base pay Higher commission percentages Additional weekly hours Independent service routes Advanced technical training Senior Technician positions Lead Technician positions Full-time employment Experienced technicians who advance through our program can work toward $30/hour base pay plus increased performance commission. Advancement is based on a combination of experience, reliability, technical ability, safety, customer service, documentation quality and overall performance. Company Vehicle & Daily Reporting Location You do not need to use your personal vehicle to travel from customer to customer. Each scheduled workday begins at our Woonsocket, Rhode Island operations location , where the technician will pick up the company service vehicle, tools and equipment needed for the day's appointments. The technician will then drive the company vehicle to scheduled customer appointments throughout our Rhode Island and Massachusetts service areas. At the end of the scheduled workday, the company vehicle and equipment are returned to the Woonsocket location. Because of this arrangement, we're ideally looking for candidates who live in or around: Woonsocket, RI Blackstone, MA Bellingham, MA Franklin, MA Northern Rhode Island Southern Massachusetts You do not have to live in Woonsocket. However, you must be able to reliably report to our Woonsocket location at the beginning of each scheduled shift. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. What You'll Do This is a hands-on residential home-service position. You'll initially work alongside an experienced technician and receive hands-on training in our procedures and equipment.
Responsibilities may include:
Professional dryer vent cleaning Camera inspection of dryer exhaust systems Airflow testing before and after service Interior dryer lint and fire-hazard mitigation Dryer transition hose replacement Dryer exhaust termination and vent-cover replacement Washer supply hose inspection and replacement Washer drain hose inspection Bathroom exhaust fan cleaning and preventative maintenance Exhaust termination inspections Identifying potential fire, water/flood and moisture risks Taking before-and-after photos and videos Completing digital inspection reports and job documentation Maintaining company tools and equipment Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the company service vehicle Protecting customers' homes while performing work Professionally explaining inspection findings and recommendations to homeowners Earn More Through Performance Our technicians are not expected to pressure customers or use aggressive sales tactics.

Inspect → Document → Educate → Recommend → Let the Customer Decide When an inspection identifies a legitimate preventative-maintenance need and the homeowner approves qualifying additional work, technicians have the opportunity to earn performance commission. As you progress through our Technician Development Program, your base hourly rate and commission percentage can increase. The better you become at your craft and the more responsibility you can handle, the greater your earning potential. Who We're Looking For Previous dryer vent experience is not required . We're willing to train the right person. The right candidate is someone who is: Dependable and punctual Mechanically inclined Comfortable using hand and power tools Professional inside customers' homes Comfortable communicating with homeowners Detail-oriented Able to follow established procedures and checklists Comfortable using a smartphone for job documentation Comfortable climbing ladders and working in confined areas Able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Willing to learn and accept coaching Interested in developing a long-term skilled-trade career Able to maintain and take responsibility for company equipment and vehicles Experience in HVAC, appliance repair, construction, property maintenance, duct cleaning, chimney service, handyman work or another home-service trade is a plus, but not required . Schedule The initial schedule is expected to be: Thursday Friday Saturday Approximately 20-24 hours per week , depending on customer demand. Additional hours may become available as the company grows. We're specifically looking for someone who is comfortable starting part-time but would be interested in transitioning into full-time employment as customer demand increases.
