Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Well Drilling Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of well drilling projects. In this energetic position, you will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment used in drilling operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines. Your mechanical aptitude and construction site experience will help drive successful project outcomes while providing opportunities for growth within the oil & gas and construction industries. Responsibilities Assist with the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, water trucks, and machinery to support drilling activities. Support the setup and breakdown of drilling rigs, including positioning and securing equipment on-site. Help monitor and control pipeline installation processes, ensuring alignment with project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as needed. Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures on construction sites. Support drilling operations. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, equipment usage, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, or water trucks in construction or oil & gas environments. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery, pipelines, and drilling equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site operations. Must pass drug screening and ongoing random drug testing as required. Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required for operating water trucks or tanker vehicles. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and operational excellence.
