Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pump and Tank Crew Chief to cover all work performed at commercial filling stations, including but not limited to; all tanks of every description utilized for holding transportation fuel. Candidate must be OSHA 30 certified. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew to ensure project milestones are met Operate equipment Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards Perform welding, mechanical repairs, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting on various power tools and hand tools used on-site. Implement OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members Coordinate with team members on manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining a focus on safety standards Document work activities through detailed reports on maintenance procedures, incident reports, and operational logs. Support training initiatives for crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and technical skills relevant to utility infrastructure. Experience Proven experience working in the pump and tank industry Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the industry Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and contract documents Outdoor work experience involving construction sites or utility installation projects is essential Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively during complex projects requiring precise execution under tight deadlines Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on quality control throughout the project lifecycle Join us as a Pump and Tank Crew Chief to lead impactful projects that keep vital systems running smoothly!
