Responsibilities Operate and monitor oil rig equipment, including pumps, piping systems, and heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance during servicing and production activities Manage rigging procedures for lifting and securing heavy components safely on-site Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pumping systems, hydraulic equipment, and other rig components to minimize downtime Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and OSHA standards Assist with pipeline lining, and construction site activities as needed Oversee crew management tasks such as coordinating team activities, training new personnel on safety procedures, and maintaining clear communication among team members Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment on oil rigs or construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency Mechanical knowledge related to pumping systems, hydraulic machinery, and general rigging techniques Valid commercial truck driving license preferred; ability to operate heavy-duty trucks safely in outdoor environments Strong understanding of pipeline operations, servicing processes, and oil & gas industry standards Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively under pressure Prior outdoor work experience in challenging weather conditions is highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocol adherence, and construction site safety practices Excellent communication skills for crew management and coordination efforts Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks involving heavy lifting, climbing, and prolonged outdoor activity Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise meets the thrill of energy exploration.
