About the Role We are seeking skilled Wireline Operators for a rotational position based on the North Slope in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This role operates on a 3-weeks-on/3-weeks-off schedule, requiring 12-hour shifts throughout the duration of your hitch, both at the wellsite and in the yard. All travel, flights, and camp accommodations are fully covered. Compensation and Logistics Pay is set at $25-$27 per hour, depending on your experience. You will work 12-hour days for the entire 3-week rotation. Per Alaska labor standards, overtime is applied after 8 hours in a single day, meaning each 12-hour shift consists of 8 hours of regular pay and 4 hours of overtime. All necessary travel arrangements, including flights and housing, are provided for this Prudhoe Bay, Alaska location. Core Responsibilities Execute open-hole and cased-hole wireline tasks, such as perforating, logging, plug setting, and pipe recovery services. Manage the assembly and disassembly of wellhead adapters, pressure control gear, and wireline units. Control wireline machinery while tracking toolstring status, depth, and line tension. Ensure all downhole equipment, cables, and tools are properly tested, assembled, and serviced. Support shop and yard operations during the hitch to maintain equipment readiness for the entire team. Uphold strict safety standards regarding radiation, H2S, explosives, and North Slope HSE protocols to protect all personnel. Maintain accurate records by completing JSAs, tool reports, and job tickets. Collaborate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other wellsite staff to ensure project success. Adhere to all camp regulations, PPE requirements, and site access protocols mandated by the operator. Required Qualifications Demonstrated professional experience as a wireline operator (this is a requirement; no trainees). Practical field experience managing wellsite operations, toolstrings, and wireline units. Capacity to commit to a 3-weeks-on/3-weeks-off schedule involving 12-hour shifts in harsh Arctic environments. Possession of a valid driver's license, with a CDL considered an advantage. Successful completion of a background check, drug/alcohol screening, and client onboarding process. Possession of or ability to obtain necessary Arctic safety certifications, including First Aid/CPR, H2S, Safeland, PEC, and site orientations. Legal authorization to work within the United States. Preferred Skills Previous experience working in remote Arctic camps or on the North Slope. Direct expertise in P&A, pipe recovery, and perforating wireline operations.
