Duties Operate and control workover rigs, including rigging up and rigging down equipment safely and efficiently Conduct routine inspections of drilling and pumping systems, troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly Manage heavy equipment such as cranes, pumps, and other specialized machinery used in well servicing Assist with pipeline connections, horizontal drilling setups, and other well intervention tasks Ensure all crew members follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection Maintain accurate logs of operations, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards Support crew management by coordinating tasks, training new team members, and fostering a safety-first environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience troubleshooting oil rig equipment and pumping systems Proven ability to operate heavy machinery safely on construction sites or oil & gas operations Skilled in rigging techniques, pipeline handling, and pump operation for efficient well servicing Valid commercial truck driving license preferred for transportation of equipment and materials Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and PPE use to ensure a safe working environment Outdoor work experience in challenging conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency Familiarity with horizontal drilling processes, oil & gas industry standards, and construction site procedures This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in the oilfield sector.
