Job Description

Job Overview Tew's Inc is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver in Big Lake. This full-time, year-round role offers an opportunity to contribute to essential road maintenance services within the Big Lake road service area. The ideal candidate will share our values of safety, public service, and take pride in delivering high-quality work that ensures safe and reliable access for schools, emergency services, and the general public, depending on our performance for accessibility. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, and other machinery necessary for road maintenance and construction projects. Safely operate trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to various job sites within the service area. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist in road repair, grading, snow removal, and other maintenance activities as required. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks efficiently. Contribute to maintaining the quality of work that supports critical community services such as schools and emergency response teams. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one; experience driving trucks is preferred. Prior experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable. Strong commitment to safety practices and public service values. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year. Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks as needed. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Demonstrates pride in workmanship and a strong work ethic focused on quality results. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
