Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders to perform various mining tasks. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery while adhering to all safety protocols on the mining site. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Skills Proficient in operating heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators and loaders. Hydraulic front shovel experience is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety regulations and practices. Ability to dig effectively and efficiently while maintaining site safety. Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting equipment or materials as needed. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination on-site.
