Job Description

Job Purpose To operate a complex piece of equipment. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Operate a complex piece of equipment. Perform set up work Clean all areas of the mill. Organize and reclaim usable material back into the manufacturing process. Load outbound waste material trucks. Keep facility grounds cleaned and maintained. Assist with facility projects and tasks. Complete Fire Watch for hot work. Clean and inspect press pit/return area. Maintain facility building structure. Perform other duties as necessary. Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of complex equipment operation. Knowledge of general equipment maintenance. Time management skills. Demonstrated mechanical ability. Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience:
1 - 2 years experience in equipment operation. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. Work Environment Plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and other inclement conditions.
