HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

for our Mobile, Alabama location.

Compensation & Benefits Entry Rate:

Transports pipe and steel plates from the production mill and coating mill from other staging areas as necessary. Properly stacks/un-stacks pipe for loading, coating or repair. Properly stocks steel plates in designated areas. Exercises knowledge and safely operates equipment to include weight limits, clearances, and obey all traffic rules within the Port of Panama City. Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Ensures all pipe movement is reported and documented. Maintain required certifications and licenses. Performs area housekeeping tasks. Performs other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned. Education & Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Prior experience in operating large transposition equipment (Preferred) Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred) must be willing to work a rotating shift including days, nights and weekends Borusan Berg Pipe is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a drug-free workplace.
