In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders with precision and safety, ensuring efficient site progress. A key requirement is your ability to back up trailers confidently, coupled with a valid driver's license. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety regulations and operational standards. Duties Operate skid steer loaders and other construction machinery to perform grading, excavation, etc. efficiently. Safely back up trailers with precision, ensuring proper attachment and secure connections for transportation of materials or equipment. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently during all operations. Support construction grading tasks by leveling surfaces accurately according to project specifications. Experience Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction environment, with strong backing-up trailer skills. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, and water trucks is a plus. Familiarity with construction utility work, excavation techniques, and site grading procedures. Understanding of federal safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery. Ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
