As a key team member, you will assist with hydrovac truck operations, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and help maintain the integrity of construction sites. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to successful project completion while fostering a safe work environment for everyone involved. Duties Assist the hydrovac operator with setup, operation, and breakdown of hydrovac equipment on construction sites. Support excavation activities by providing manual labor, including digging, trenching, and utility locating. Maintain clear communication with the team to coordinate movements and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on construction machinery such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, and water trucks to ensure optimal performance. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe work environment. Help with construction grading tasks and site cleanup to prepare for subsequent phases of the project. Support heavy equipment operation by assisting with equipment positioning and ensuring proper operation during excavation and utility work. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Prior construction site experience, including utility work or excavation projects. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to operate loaders, excavators, backhoes, and water trucks safely and effectively. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations applicable to heavy equipment operation. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members on active job sites. Construction grading experience or utility locating skills are a plus.
